Rebecca Clarke - London Massage

I started my career as a professional actress but discovered an equal passion and affinity for bodywork during an evening class shortly after leaving drama school.

Alongside theatre and television work, I continued to undertake further training and qualified in sports and remedial massage, pregnancy and post-natal massage, Indian head massage and face-lift massage. I completely fell in love with massage therapy and have now made it my full time career. I am passionate about helping people feel better physically and emotionally. I believe that the best results are achieved when we take responsibility for our own healing, so I share my knowledge with clients, giving them home care exercises and stretches to help relieve their pain for the long term.

I consider myself to be an intuitive massage therapist and believe an emotional reading of my clients an essential part of the process. Although I practice several different types of massage, each treatment I give actually incorporates elements of each of them depending on what comes up in the consultation, what I feel when connecting with some ones body or what I instinctively feel they need.

I have over 10 years experience and have worked in a range of settings. I recently  returned from Take That's 'Progress' tour as their personal massage therapist, I've been the resident massage therapist for the dancers at the Urdang Academy since 2008 and performed on-site massage for companies such as Radio 1 and The Almeida Theatre. I currently practice at Shine On The Green and Shine Holistic in Stoke Newington. I am a full member of the British Register of Complimentary Practioners.
